Standard residential garage door strut (~2.25", 22 gauge steel) used to add rigidity and stabilization to a door. You will likely find this across the top of nearly all garage doors, and some heavier doors will require additional struts throughout the rest of the door.
These are engineered to provide additional support while adding very minimal weight to your garage door. Choose single door (8ft width) or double door (16ft width).
They come with pre-punched installation holes, but you may need to drill a couple new ones based on alignment (easy). The 8ft requires six self-tapping screws to install, and the 16ft requires ten screws. Find those in the FASTENERS collection on this site.
