This is unlikely, but you may be concerned about winding garage door springs and the possibility that they break during this process.
Set screws secure your garage door springs or cable drums to the torsion tube. If you don't tighten them enough, the spring or drum could detach. If you overtighten them, you risk damaging your torsion tube and making it difficult to remove or install those parts in the future.
